Burton on Trent .
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate leader who is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management and regulatory compliance of the home.
- Ensuring outstanding levels of care and positive outcomes for young people.
- Working closely with a dedicated care team, leading with empathy and confidence, fostering a culture of trust, consistency, and growth.
- Overseeing Ofsted inspections and maintaining high standards.
- Staff development, motivation, support, and team development.
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Minimum
2 years’ experience in a senior or supervisory role within a registered children’s home.
- Comprehensive understanding of
- Children’s Home Regulations and
Ofsted frameworks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a child‑centred approach.
- Proven ability to motivate, support, and develop teams.
- Excellent organisational, safeguarding, and record‑keeping skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
