  • Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a three‑bedded children’s residential home in

Burton on Trent .

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate leader who is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day management and regulatory compliance of the home.
  • Ensuring outstanding levels of care and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Working closely with a dedicated care team, leading with empathy and confidence, fostering a culture of trust, consistency, and growth.
  • Overseeing Ofsted inspections and maintaining high standards.
  • Staff development, motivation, support, and team development.

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).

  • Minimum

2 years’ experience in a senior or supervisory role within a registered children’s home.

  • Comprehensive understanding of
  • Children’s Home Regulations and

Ofsted frameworks.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a child‑centred approach.
  • Proven ability to motivate, support, and develop teams.
  • Excellent organisational, safeguarding, and record‑keeping skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
