About the Role
We are seeking a Children’s Registered Manager to take operational responsibility for a soon-to-open children’s home in the Finchley area. This role has become available as part of wider expansion plans. The organisation has grown and now operates five successful homes, with several more on track to open. You will step into a fully supported environment where registration, setup and pre-opening work is handled centrally—your focus will be on running a high-quality, compliant, stable home once it is registered and staffed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the children’s home, ensuring exceptional care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strong Ofsted outcomes and confidently lead the home through inspections.
- Build and support a high-performing staff team, working closely with HR, compliance, finance, and regional management.
- Provide stability, structure, and a nurturing environment for the child.
- Work collaboratively with local boroughs and sustain positive working relationships.
- Uphold high operational standards, ensuring the home is safe, warm, and supportive for both children and staff.
- Drive performance, occupancy, and quality improvements through effective leadership.
