An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Registered Manager, overseeing a Brand-new Residential Children's Home in Nuneaton.

This provider specialises in supporting children with EBD and other associated complex needs.

Our team of experienced adults in each home applies a therapeutic approach in a warm and welcoming environment.

Job Description

  • You will be leading the opening of a brand new home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities.
  • A commitment to prioritising the welfare of young people above all else.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children’s home)
  • Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management
  • Relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma)
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role Management in a relevant residential care setting.
  • Worked within Ofsted inspection framework.
  • Extra 8 hours annual leave for your birthday
