The role in a nutshell
As a Global Benefits Consultant, you will leverage your international benefits expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing clients' requirements and creating customized solutions.
- Actively contributing to the design and implementation of effective benefits programs.
- Collaborating across teams and business lines to align with client needs and business objectives.
How you will make a difference:
- Resolve client escalations and actively work with clients to improve engagement.
- Support clients and internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of benefit plans.
- Provide training to the Global Benefits Team to ensure plans and changes are understood.
- Research and evaluate benefit programs and policies and stay up to date on trends and best practices.
- Advise clients and internal teams on regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to global and country benefit regulations.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the benefits and HR teams on handling complex issues or inquiries.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining benefit processes and related documentation.
- Assist and support benefits projects using effective analytical skills to improve benefits offerings in line with business goals and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline our approach to the management of benefits.
- Participate in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
- Manage assigned client base to ensure key metrics and SLAs are adhered to.
- Communicate complex information to educate clients' employees on their benefit options and exclusions.
- Analyse and evaluate clients' needs based on their situation to determine the best benefit option.
What will make you stand out:
- 4+ years international benefits administration experience with a strong knowledge of country legislation and benefits design.
- 2+ years in a consultative client-facing role.
- Thorough understanding of benefits principles, practices and procedures.
- Proven track record of dealing with senior level executive leadership, up to and including C level.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Multi-language skills a plus.
- High degree of success leading complex projects with documented plans.
- Aptitude for analytical thinking and creative solutions with strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to deal with and navigate through transitions and ambiguity to drive successful change initiatives.
