About the Role

As a Technical Support Officer you will support the Audit Services team in completing desktop assessments of registered customers’ accreditation documentation.

You will provide technical support via phone and email, ensuring a first‑class customer experience.

Location & Schedule

Cardiff, UK – hybrid workplace: 3 days a week from the office.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete pre‑audit checks on customer information to ensure a minimum standard before progressing to the full audit.
  • Work through a number of pre‑audit checks of customer information to ensure everything required is collated.
  • Provide feedback to customers and collate any missing required information for the pre‑audit checks.
  • Support customers with areas of improvement where additional information is needed to pass the audit and become accredited.
  • Provide health and safety advice and guidance to customers (full training provided).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Customer service, administrative experience and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written English, able to handle customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Consistent application of quality processes and standards, ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Team player who can work well within a close‑knit team.
  • Some experience or interest in health and safety or compliance is a plus but not essential.
  • Training & Development

You will receive full onboarding and training and support to gain the health and safety specific qualifications required for this role.
