We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Licensed Asbestos Operatives, based out of our Wakefield office. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a specialist career within the asbestos removal industry. No prior asbestos experience is required — all training, qualifications, and support will be provided by the company. You will be working alongside experienced Operatives and Supervisors across a variety of domestic and commercial sites throughout Yorkshire and occasionally the North East.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the safe removal of asbestos‑containing materials (ACMs) under supervision.
- Prepare and secure work areas, including helping set up enclosures and decontamination units.
- Support the implementation of dust suppression techniques.
- Carry out basic decontamination procedures for tools and equipment.
- Learn and adhere to site‑specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure projects run smoothly and safely.
What We’re Looking For
- A willingness to learn and build a long‑term career in asbestos removal.

Pay & Progression
- Starting rate: £14.50 per hour.
- Fully trained rate: £16.00 per hour.
