We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Licensed Asbestos Operatives, based out of our Wakefield office. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a specialist career within the asbestos removal industry. No prior asbestos experience is required — all training, qualifications, and support will be provided by the company. You will be working alongside experienced Operatives and Supervisors across a variety of domestic and commercial sites throughout Yorkshire
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the safe removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) under supervision.
- Prepare and secure work areas, including helping set up enclosures and
- Support the implementation of dust suppression techniques.
- Carry out basic decontamination procedures for tools and equipment.
- Learn and adhere to site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure projects run smoothly and safely.
Pay & Progression
- Fully trained rate: £18.00 per hour.
