The predicted salary is between 33000 - 38000 £ per year.

We are offering a permanent role for a Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out Maintenance, Remedials and Emergency Lighting works, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to an ambitious and driven individual looking for a long-term career opportunity and progression within the company.

What you will receive:

  • Competitive Salary (£33,000 to £38,000 PA basic pay dependent on experience) plus an uncapped bonus (circa £5,000.00 PA), overtime and callout allowance with the potential annual remuneration of circa £40,000.00 - £45,000.00.
  • On-Call Pay Supplement with rota 1 in 7.
  • A Company Pension.
  • 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional day per full year of employment completed (Jan - Dec) up to a maximum of 24 days holiday plus bank holidays per year.
  • A fully equipped New Company Vehicle and Fuelcard, a Business Smart Phone, Tools/Equipment, and a Company Uniform.
  • Ongoing Training and Development Programme, with both internal and external training available.

What we are looking for in you:

  • A minimum of 3 years of expertise servicing and carrying out remedial work on Fire Alarm Systems, including Addressable and Conventional Systems.
  • Experience in carrying out Emergency Lighting and Fire Extinguisher Testing and remedials.
  • Good Time Management Skills to ensure you work to the scheduled timescales agreed with the Customer.
  • Good Writing Skills to complete Work Report Sheets, Checklists and Certification accurately and clearly.
  • Customer Focus and effective Interpersonal Skills to always put our customers' safety needs first.
  • Acute attention to detail to investigate complex faults and identify if the customer requires additional products and services.
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team to form part of the On-Call Rota when scheduled.
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence and ability to drive in congested areas such as London.
