We are working on behalf of a Client in the West Midlands area who is looking for an experienced Senior Support worker to join their team and home.

Roles and Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>- Within this leadership role you will be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, policies, procedures, risk assessments, rotas, and ensuring that placement plans are followed and education is supported. Lead, Mentor and Inspire and make a Positive impact to a child’s life.
<\/li> - You will ensure the welfare and care of each child and give guidance and support to all residential workers.
<\/li> - Be a positive role model for the young people
<\/li> - Support Young People with day -to -day routines and education
<\/li> - Support Young People to take part in activities in the community and go on holiday
<\/li> - Accurately record and update information in care plans
<\/li> - Attend meetings with your team and the young people
<\/li> - Hold key work sessions with the young people
<\/li> - Take part in training, development, and regular supervision
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>- Must be over the age of 21
<\/li> - Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent)
<\/li> - Full UK Driving Licence
<\/li> - A minimum of two years of experience working in a residential childcare setting
<\/li> - Experienced working with Children with EBD needs and Challenging behaviours
<\/li> - Strong communication skills with young people, team members and other external professionals
<\/li> - Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check, along with satisfactory references
<\/li> - UK Driving License
<\/li><\/ul>
