This is a full-time, on-site position based in South East London, United Kingdom. The Therapeutic Support Worker will support children and young people within a residential care setting by providing day‑to‑day care, emotional support, and guidance. The role involves:

Qualifications
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably within a residential care or support setting
- Understanding of child development and the emotional and behavioural needs of young people
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practice
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with external agencies and professionals
- Experience in report writing, record keeping, and maintaining accurate case records
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviour using therapeutic and trauma‑informed approaches
- A commitment to supporting young people to develop independence, confidence, and positive life skills
- Willingness to work towards or hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
