SAFE Group is a Security & Fire company dealing with social housing with a number of clients. They provide design, supply, installation, commission, service and repairs to various systems to exceed client expectations.
This is a full-time role for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer. The Fire Alarm Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, field service, maintenance & repairs of fire alarm and emergency light systems on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills
- Field Service and Technical Support skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience in fire alarm system, Emergency Light servicing and Fire Extinguishers (desirable)
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Certifications in fire alarm systems or related fields
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
We are looking to take on 1 Engineer around BA - SP - SN & 1 Engineer GU - PO - SO to come into the company. We have 4 Offices / Teams located in Bury, Bourton on Trent, Worth & Salisbury. As you can see, the Salisbury office will be HQ for the area. You will be required to enter into a Callout Rota; Covering DT, BS, BA, BH, SP, SN, SO, PO, RG, OX, HP, SL & KT. We have a separate Rota for Devon, Cornwall, Plymouth and Exeter as we do not receive many in that area.
Salary is Competitive but negotiable depending on experience. 20 Standard Holiday + Bank Holidays Callout £105 for the Week + £30 Per Callout (First Hour onsite) + Door to Door Travel - No gifting of 15-30-60 minutes involved. If called out to site past Midnight, when you arrive home you are NOT expected to come back into work until after 11 Hours rest.
