The strategic, relational role sits at the heart of Safe Families and Home for Good’s Fundraising Team and is key to ensuring our financial sustainability. The Fundraising Assistant works alongside the Fundraising Managers, Team Leader and Head of Fundraising to raise funds in line with the charity’s mission, strategy and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date donor information across varied platforms.
- Produce robust reporting for the fundraising team and wider staff.
- Engage donors via phone, email and post, representing the charity with a friendly manner, enthusiasm and warmth.
- Answer phone calls related to fundraising across diverse areas.
- Ensure timely updates of information, demonstrating strong problem-solving, perseverance and administrative skills.
Contract Type Maternity cover contract. Subject to continued partnership funding.
Hours of Work Part time 0.6 (22 hours 30 minutes).
Location Aberdeen, Cardiff, Carlisle, Darlington, Dudley, Edinburgh, Grimsby, Leicester, Lincoln, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Southampton, Taunton.
Salary £24,280 – £25,280 (+£3,000 London weighting) – pro rata FTE £14,568 – £15,168. Salary above the starting range may be adjusted based on relevant skills and experience.
Holiday Entitlement 36 days annual leave allowance (inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas closure), with option to purchase additional leave and extra days added to your allowance with length of service. Pro-rated for part-time staff.
