The Church and Community Relationship Coordinator is a role focussed on inspiring, resourcing and activating individuals and churches to understand the biblical mandate to care for children and families. You will inspire them to respond and play their part in the solution.

The role will focus on growing relationships with Church leaders, networks and individual Christians. It involves nurturing a team of volunteer Church Champions across the area to maximise vision and multiply impact. You will also oversee recruitment and nurturing of volunteer Church Champions, work as part of the North team across Aberdeenshire, travel within the council area including Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Stonehaven, Inverbervie, Deeside, Moray Firth, Inverness, Edinburgh and wider UK for team meetings.

Interviews will take place on 9.6.26 in Aberdeen but we will endeavour to accommodate candidate’s availability.

  • Contract type: Permanent contract. Subject to continued partnership funding.
  • Hours of work: Part time (22.5 hours). Up to 37.5 hours considered.
  • Location: Hybrid (4 days in our Aberdeenshire office per month).
  • Salary: £26,227.50 – £29,128.40 (appointments made above the starting salary dependent on skills and experience).
  • Holiday entitlement: 36 days annual leave allowance.
