The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

Due to ongoing business growth, Safe Environment now require self-motivated, punctual Demolition & Non-licensed Asbestos Labourers. Additional training will be provided.

Responsibilities/duties:

  • Driving throughout the UK with average 1-2 nights overnight per week (travel paid at full rate, overnight allowance £25 + hotels paid)
  • Assist on non-licensed asbestos removal works, demolition and soft-strip
  • Maintain personnel RPE/PPE
  • Stripping out fittings, plaster removal, removing doors and windows, dismantling roof structures, cutting steel framework, stripping off fragile roofs
  • Using hammer drills, abrasive wheels, and plant/machinery
  • All other duties as required

Desired Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience (not required - full training will be provided):

  • Demolition training
  • CSCS/CCDO card/IOSH Working Safely
  • Cat B NLW Asbestos Training
  • IPAF/PASMA
  • Abrasive wheels
  • Full driving licence
  • 2 x References
  • Some allied trade/labouring experience is desired but not required

Hours will be between 40-55 per week inclusive of travel/driving which is paid at normal hourly rate.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £13 - £16 per hour (typical in hand pay £600-800 per week)
  • £25 per night overnight allowance
  • 31 days annual leave entitlement (inc. Christmas shutdown)
