SAFAB Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking Machine Assistant to join our busy production team.
We manufacture metal roof flashings and associated products, and we're looking for someone who wants to get stuck in, learn new skills and become an important part of our team.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside our experienced machine operators, your role will include:
- Assisting with the operation of production machinery
- Loading and unloading materials
- Handling and preparing sheets of metal
- Assisting with measuring, cutting, folding and forming
- Checking finished products for quality
- Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe
- Working as part of the team to meet production deadlines
- Following all company health & safety procedures
