About the Role
We're seeking a proactive, detail driven Senior Accountant (qualified or QBE) with strong technical ability and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. In this role, you'll work closely with managers and directors, gaining hands on experience across a diverse client portfolio. Because of our size and structure, you won't be limited to one type of work you'll gain exposure to a wide range of assignments, helping you build a deeper, more versatile skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and management accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
- Draft business tax returns for manager/director review
- Liaise directly with clients and support their needs alongside the client manager
- Conduct audits both in-office and at client premises
- Assist senior team members in managing client portfolios
- Complete assigned training within agreed timeframes
- Support managers and directors with ad hoc tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or QBE with strong experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office
