Join our team at Sadler’s Well Theatre as a Theatre Technician, Stage & Flys and help bring dance to life on our stage. As a Theatre Technician, Stage & Flys, you will be instrumental in creating unforgettable performances and shaping the technical identity of a groundbreaking venue at Sadler\'s Wells in Angel, which has an automated flys system.
We are a receiving theatre with varied seasons, including both artistic and commercial activities. You would be required to have a flexible approach to working patterns and ideally will have experience of working with either repertory or touring companies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical identity of Sadler’s Wells as part of the Theatre Technician, Stage & Flys team
- Operate and manage flys systems and related stage technologies to support performances
- Work in a flexible, collaborative environment across varied productions
- Support stage operations for repertory or touring companies as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Flexible, practical person with excellent stage and flys skills
- Experience in professional theatre/venues
- Stage automation skills or knowledge of new stage technologies is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of flys operations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
- Passionate about theatre and committed to artistic excellence
