We are seeking an experienced Videographer who is passionate about creating captivating film content across all channels. If you have a background in engaging sports fans through your films and possess expertise in advanced filming and editing techniques, we want to hear from you!

With the growing popularity of this particular sport and the increasing demand for rich content, this position is the beginning of a new broadcast and content team.

You will play a crucial role in planning, shooting, and editing films that showcase two world-leading brands. Your storytelling will amplify brand messages, introduce exciting new products and services, and bring live sporting events to life for our enthusiastic audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging film content from concept to execution for various platforms and campaigns, using your creative vision and technical expertise to tell compelling product stories and enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure videos align with marketing strategies and effectively engage the target audience.
  • Lead and assist in all aspects of pre-production, including script development, storyboarding, and equipment management.
  • In collaboration with the Creative Director, direct talent performances on set according to the concept and script.
  • Manage all aspects of video production, including camera operation, sound recording, lighting setup, and crew management. Liaise with producers, cast, and crew on set while taking direction from the creative director.
  • Work with partners (sporting fixtures and brands) to plan and execute shoots.
  • Prepare detailed kit lists for shoots that align with and enhance the storyboard/concept while being mindful of production budgets.
  • Adapt to fast-paced, rapidly changing studio and location environments, making key decisions and solving problems as they arise.
  • Ensure that all design briefs are met with the highest level of quality and consistency.

Experience needed

  • Proficient in video editing using Premiere Pro, with skills in colour grading and incorporating music, sound effects, and graphics in post-production.
  • Proven experience in video production and storytelling, supported by a strong portfolio that showcases your creativity and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of camera operation techniques, including composition, lighting, and sound.
  • Proficiency with a range of production equipment, including cameras, sound equipment, and lighting, and experience working as part of a production crew.
  • Competence in technical post-production techniques and processes, including motion graphics.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling techniques with the ability to create compelling narratives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
  • Awareness of current videography trends, along with a willingness to adapt and experiment with new approaches.
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • A passion for creating visually captivating content and a solid commitment to delivering results.
  • Ability to produce content with quick turnarounds, especially in high-pressure environments.
  • Knowledge of best practices for mobile-first social platforms.
