The Manager is an Engineer, they work in a team of 3, and they all contribute to the product (s) roadmap. Our client is currently looking to rewrite all in-house built applications with a view to modernising and improving the functionality used by vulnerable adults and workers. The business is an employee-owned trust, and they provide specialist services to care homes, a local college hospital and to extremely vulnerable adults. They don\’t believe in micromanagement, siloed teams and oppressive styles. They recognise coding ability and offer a chance to better yourself personally and technically. They are a close family with a dog and over 109 years of experience in IT. From a technology point of view, our client is currently building a highly scalable environment by: Using Blazor webassembly on the front end Building a modern control set written in house Using a serverless architecture using Azure Container Apps and Azure Functions Using a messagebus in between website and functions Required Skills and Experience Good experience in a Software Engineer/Developer role Solid Design Principles A good working understanding of design patterns C# Web APIs Test Driven Development (N Unit) Desirable Skills and Experience Experience with Blazor Webassembly Experience with developing with Microsoft Azure Experience with Azure Functions University degree in computer systems design or computer science or equivalent.
