A Cardiff-based fintech working in private markets is looking for a senior Go developer to join a small, experienced engineering team. The platform handles large volumes of financial data. This is a backend-only role focused on a core calculation engine. No frontend work.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and optimising financial calculation services in Go
- Processing and reconciling high volumes of capital, positions and holdings data
- Designing for scalability, low latency and long-term reliability
- Contributing to system design and infrastructure decisions alongside a senior team
- Integrating backend services with a PHP Laravel presentation layer
