For a multinational company operating in a dynamic and international environment, we are seeking a tax professional to support regional tax compliance, strengthen tax governance, and contribute to the strategic direction of the EMEA tax function. The role combines operational tax oversight, advisory support, and cross‑regional coordination, playing a key part in ensuring accurate tax reporting, enhancing control frameworks, and supporting strategic initiatives across the region.
In this position, you will act as the senior tax point of contact for selected EMEA countries, ensuring that tax processes are compliant, timely, and aligned with Group requirements. You will collaborate closely with country CFOs, finance leads, external advisors, and the EMEA Tax Department to oversee compliance activities, support tax audits, implement governance controls, and contribute to M&A and corporate reorganization projects. The role requires strong technical tax skills, attention to detail, and a service‑oriented mindset, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in both operational and strategic tax matters across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Regional Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee tax compliance processes and coordinate tax reporting for assigned EMEA countries.
- Manage external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Review tax submissions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with Group standards.
- Tax Governance & Controls
- Support the setup and implementation of tax governance controls across the region, including internal TCF, SAO/CCO requirements, and other local control obligations.
- Contribute to strengthening internal controls, documentation standards, and tax risk management.
- Tax Audits & Controversy
- Assist in the coordination and resolution of tax audits, ensuring effective communication with the EMEA Tax Department.
- Support the preparation of audit documentation and responses to tax authorities.
- M&A and Corporate Reorganizations
- Provide tax support on M&A transactions, due diligence, and post‑deal integration.
- Assist in the tax analysis and execution of corporate restructuring initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Participate in global and regional tax projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and tax efficiency.
- Build strong working relationships with finance teams, business stakeholders, and external advisors.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the EMEA and global tax function.
Your Profile
- BS in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience; Master’s in Tax and/or ACA/CPA qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience in large multinational organizations and/or Big Four firms.
- Extensive experience in corporate tax compliance, tax planning, international tax, and transfer pricing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workloads with sensitive deadlines.
- Solid accounting foundation; general knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
