The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of Ed Tech II or III to Support Multilingual Students at multiple schools in the Oxford Hills School District.

JOB GOAL: To support multilingual students with English language acquisition by providing in-class support and direct instruction as dictated by students’ Individualized Language Acquisition Plans.

DESCRIPTION: The position is flexible and could accommodate full or part-time employment at one or more schools, at the elementary level (K-6) and/or middle school level (7-8). Our current needs are at Guy E Rowe Elementary School and Oxford Hills Middle School. On the job training and guidance will be provided to support your ongoing professional growth.

REPORTS TO: Curriculum Director and Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School Year Position - Hourly rate from $19.93 - $29.84 per hour dependent on experience; position is under the Oxford Hills Educational Association Unit for Ed Techs IIs & IIIs. MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full-time employees (over 25 hours per week), including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental, vision, Group Life Insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; Maine Public Employee Pension, 403(b) retirement plan eligibility; 15 paid sick days per year; and tuition reimbursement.
