Job Title: Setting Out/Surveying Engineer Apprentice Company: As a Setting Out/Surveying Engineer Apprentice, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer centre. The Setting Out/Surveying Engineer Apprentice will be involved in the engineering work on the project be and responsible for carrying out tasks assigned by the team manager, assisting other engineers with tasks, follow guidance and come up with original ideas. The role holder is required to work closely with the construction management, engineers and surveyors to keep projects on track, and will be responsible in conducting desktop and field research, attending meetings, performing all practical and administrative duties assigned by the team manager, assisting on projects and writing up reports, offering suggestions for improvement where necessary. This role involves performing topographic surveys, setting out tasks, redefinition of works, levelling and carry out surveys in a construction site which includes creating accurate plans in variety of different environments using up to date technology such as: In addition, the role also includes developing land survey reports and performing calculations of measurements and evaluations, all of which will assist Engineers to carry out required works. Eager to learn with a keen eye to for detail especially in relation to numerical data. Proficient with MS Office software. to include Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word.
