Sacro’s mission is to deliver life-changing services that empower people, give hope and protection, and help to build safe communities. Sacro provides Restorative Justice and one-to-one Behavioural change programmes to assist young people in addressing offending behaviour and, where appropriate, to support young people in making amends to the person they have harmed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with young people as part of an existing Youth Justice team. The successful candidate should have:
- Experience of working with young people who offend
- Knowledge of psychosocial and psychological interventions
- Experience in Restorative Justice
- Experience of delivering group work programmes
Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working (advantageous)
A commitment to Sacro’s value base is essential. A valid driving licence is essential for this post. Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) will be a requirement for this post. Sacro values diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
