Kirkcaldy Hub

18.50 hours per week

Fixed Term to 31 March 2026 with possible extension, subject to funding.

Salary: SCP 20 – 22, currently £24,570 - £25,077 per annum, pro-rata.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service. Responsible to the Service Team Leader, you will have primary responsibility to carry a caseload of mediation cases involving disputes between neighbours. You will provide practical and emotional support to individuals suffering from hate incidents and anti-social behaviour.

You will be a creative self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful applicant will be flexible and imaginative in their approach and confident in their ability to help clients steer their way through difficult situations.

Previous mediation or similar experience would be highly desirable for this position. Applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a car satisfying the appropriate insurance requirements. Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) will be a requirement for this post.
