Sacro’s mission is to deliver life changing services that empower people, give hope and protection, and help to build safe communities. Sacro is recruiting a Part-Time Support Assistant (Cleaning) to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within Guildry House, our supported accommodation service for people who are homeless.
This is a practical and important role, helping to ensure the service remains a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for residents and staff. We are looking for someone who has cleaning experience within commercial/residential premises, but full training will be provided.
You should be able to work independently, including lone working in resident flats. You must have a non-judgemental attitude and be able to maintain confidentiality and be physically able to carry out deep cleaning and some heavy lifting.
We are a Care Inspectorate registered service so the Support Assistant must be committed to ensuring a clean, safe, and dignified environment for service users. Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme will be a requirement for the post for which Sacro will cover the cost.
We welcome applications from individuals who share Sacro’s aims and values and want to engage with those we support to help them move on to a more secure, settled and fulfilling life and value diversity from all sections of the community.
