We are looking to appoint a highly dedicated cleaner to join our current team and ensure standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained effectively under the direction of our Site Staff.

The successful applicant will be undertaking general cleaning duties within the school, forming positive relationships with adults.
Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties which include ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the standard / specification given.
Duties will include vacuuming, polishing, clearing litter, deep cleaning and using powered equipment such as vacuums, shampoo and buffing machines. It is desirable for the applicant to have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment.
Previous experience in a cleaning role of school or office premises and knowledge of the use of industrial cleaning equipment is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Periodic cleaning of premises and furnishings during school holidays. However, please note that this is an all year round post (not term time only) and the postholder will be required to work during some of the school holiday periods. The working hours will change during deep clean periods to mornings so flexibility is required.

An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.
