We are looking for an enthusiastic, outstanding teacher to join Sacred Heart School. The successful candidate will motivate, challenge, support and inspire our students and also have relevant experience in teaching phonics.
Responsibilities
- Be a passionate and effective classroom practitioner
- Have the ability to engage, enthuse, and motivate children and their families
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity
- Be skilled in planning and delivering lessons that meet the diverse needs of all children, ensuring that learning is both enjoyable and challenging
- Be able to provide personalised learning for children with additional needs
- Be an inclusive practitioner
- Have experience of teaching phonics successfully (preferably Little Wandle)
- Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development and improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support children\’s learning and development
