Summary
Nekem Packaging, part of the Lendlock Group, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to play a key role in accelerating our growth strategy. Since joining the Lendlock Group in 2009, Nekem has been backed by one of the UK’s largest privately owned manufacturers of personal care packaging. We are a business that values both People and Profit, investing in our team while maintaining strong commercial focus and sustainable growth. The Role
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and converting prospects into long-term commercial partnerships.
- Identify and target new markets, sectors, and growth opportunities
- Develop relationships with cold, warm, and existing leads
- Engage key decision-makers and present tailored packaging solutions
- Manage first orders from quotation through to delivery
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms
- Maintain and grow an active sales pipeline
- Deliver against new business and revenue targets
- Attend exhibitions and industry events
- Provide sales forecasting and performance analysis
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Warehousing, and Accounts teams
About You
- Proven experience in Sales / Business Development within a B2B environment
- Commercially driven and motivated by winning new business
- Organised, process-focused, and comfortable working under pressure
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Proactive, resilient, and energetic in your approach
- Willing to travel across the UK as required (occasional overnight stays)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
