As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will inspire pupils to develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of Mathematics within a structured and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and A Level
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
- Monitoring, assessing and reporting on pupil progress to support strong outcomes
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive classroom environment
- Acting as a Form Tutor, supporting the academic and pastoral development of pupils
- Contributing to extracurricular activities, including clubs and enrichment opportunities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and outcomes
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A Level
- Strong subject knowledge across relevant exam board specifications
- A track record of improving student attainment and progress
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school
