About the Role and You:

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will inspire pupils to develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of Mathematics within a structured and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and A Level
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations
  • Monitoring, assessing and reporting on pupil progress to support strong outcomes
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive classroom environment
  • Acting as a Form Tutor, supporting the academic and pastoral development of pupils
  • Contributing to extracurricular activities, including clubs and enrichment opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and outcomes

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A Level
  • Strong subject knowledge across relevant exam board specifications
  • A track record of improving student attainment and progress
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
