Then it became an organization and has been implementing various projects with support from different development partners in many areas. Its vision is to empower women of Bangladesh to achieve better status within family and society. The mission is to support, promote and protect the interests of women in Bangladesh by providing community-based health care, empowering underprivileged adolescents and youth, helping to provide legal support to girls and women who are victims of domestic violence, and developing human resources for positive social changes.
Currently, Sachetan Society has been implementing the project titled Community Mobilization Project in partnership with SMC. This project is funded by SMC. Job Location: Sherpur Upazila, Bogura district. The incumbent will be located in the district office at Sherpur and implement the Community Mobilization Project in 04-06 Upazilas of districts.
The person will regularly update books of accounts, perform daily administrative tasks, and prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly financial reports. They should be capable of preparing budgets and budgetary control. The incumbent will monitor all financial documents in the intervention areas and assist and support the teams.
The person will also assist in preparing all kinds of project reports and documents to share with Sachetan Society authority and submit to the SMC on a regular basis. The incumbent will maintain all kinds of liaison, coordination, and effective communication among the stakeholders, donor representatives, and other stakeholders for effective implementation of the project activities.
Ensure Fixed Asset Recording, half-yearly/annual physical inventory register, and ID number. The Accounts & Admin Officer will oversee the Women Entrepreneurs called Gold Star Members (GSMs) activities and will assist the team in undertaking knowledge and skills development initiatives and provide technical support to create awareness and sell public health products to the community people.
