An established and well-regarded Personal Injury practice is seeking an experienced Occupiers’ and Public Liability Solicitor to join its OL/PL department based in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven litigator to manage a high-quality caseload and benefit from a genuinely rewarding bonus structure.
As a Personal Injury Solicitor, you will:
- Manage your own caseload of predominantly pre- and post-issue fast track and OL/PL claims.
- Run cases from inception to conclusion.
- Handle litigation, including applications and hearings where required.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide clear legal advice to clients.
- Work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful case outcomes.
Commission and Rewards:
- Generous uncapped commission structure.
- Percentage paid on every successful case.
- No thresholds or hurdles – rewarded for every completion.
- Commission paid monthly in arrears.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 1 years’ PQE / CILEX or qualified by experience.
- Proven billing record managing a litigated OL/PL caseload.
- Strong experience with fast-track OL/PL matters.
- Portal experience required (caseload is predominantly non-portal).
- Confident progressing cases to and through litigation.
- Sound knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and litigation trends.
- Experience running files from issue through to trial or disposal hearing.
- Tenacity, enthusiasm and a results-driven mindset.
