An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate level) to join a growing and highly regarded Conveyancing team in Newcastle.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded conveyancer looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive, ambitious environment with leadership and progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, acting on behalf of financial institution clients and ensuring a high standard of client service throughout.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a residential conveyancing sales caseload
- Preparing title reports, contracts, auction legal packs, completion statements and TR2s
- Liaising with clients, asset managers, third parties and customers to provide regular updates
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements and internal procedures
- Supporting, mentoring and helping develop junior fee earners
- Assisting with team growth, leadership and succession planning initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years PQE
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Excellent technical knowledge and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Experience using case management systems
- Experience working with lenders or financial institutions (not essential)
- Knowledge of repossession conveyancing transactions (not essential)
