A leading national firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their Part Exchange team in Leeds. You will be joining one of the UK’s leading residential development legal teams, acting for 18 of the top 20 UK housebuilders.

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, primarily dealing with properties bought and sold via part exchange by national housebuilders as part of their plot sales processes.
  • Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Handling both freehold and leasehold matters.
  • Drafting and issuing conveyancing documentation.
  • Dealing with pre-contract enquiries.
  • Reviewing and reporting on title and searches.
  • Negotiating and exchanging contracts.
  • Managing completions.
  • Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations.

About You

  • 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
