We are looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager focusing on new business generation, with regional brands/ new logos. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working in a demanding and challenging environment, with a proven track record in software as a service sales and success as selling at executive level. The role will be an integral part of the Europe team and have full accountability and ownership for revenue in assigned territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily responsible for growth and revenue generation from Sabre Hospitality sales to new logos (hotel chains) to assigned territories in the European region.
Lead, grow, and provide sales and development opportunities in current market, for core CRS and distribution, as well as go to market, products.
Execute to achieve individual sales targets, monitoring progress monthly/quarterly/annually.
Meet targets in profitability, revenue growth and revenue recognition ensuring business is executed according to current policies and guidelines and within desired profitability margins.
Develop and effectively manage trusted advisor relationships, with stakeholders through to C- Level, through a full sales cycle.
Preparation and delivery of a successful sales approach including execution of meetings, presentations, proposals and contracts.
Working with key internal stakeholders as a collaborative team player to win new business, and facilitate successfully onboarding new hotel logos.
Utilize salesforce.com to track activities, contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities.
Provide regular forecasts and updates for the assigned territory.
Track and analyze the competition, market opportunities, products, and activities.
Assist in lead generating activities and support of industry trade shows/events.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 8 years of sales success; ideally in CRS Distribution or adjacent technologies.
Track record of exceeding sales targets.
Numerical abilities- analytical, inquisitive, and used to working on ROI.
Competency in prioritization, and time management.
Proficiency in a second language for business beyond English.
Use of CRM preferably Salesforce.com.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and communicate at all levels.
