The Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Principal Product Marketing to join the team. This role requires creating and managing the holistic go-to-market activities and collaborating with a diverse set of global stakeholders within and outside of the Marketing organization.
Role And Responsibilities
- Support the entire go-to-market lifecycle through the planning of net-new product launches, differentiated releases, in market maintenance and sunset activities.
- Collaborate across functions and teams to deliver an effective product marketing strategy and plan to meet the business objectives, including the acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers.
- Have strong cross-team constituent collaboration skills working with sales and product teams.
- Understand the market and competitive landscape to competitively position assigned products and services across all content and digital channels, as well as hosted community events.
- Become an expert on our target customers and their buying criteria to author effective content for sales enablement, including collateral, presentations, and integrated product videos.
- Collect testimonials and/or case studies and identify key customer references to leverage in voice of the customer content.
- Position Travel Solutions as a thought leader in the market with customer-centric positioning and messaging targeted to segment and buying roles.
- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on recommended changes.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver results.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent.
- +8 years of business-to-business product marketing experience.
- Editorial mindset with attention to detail and quality that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
- Experience with marketing a product(s) through unique positioning and value-based messaging and effective sales enablement tactics.
- Team mentality within a global matrixed team environment.
- Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Collaborative mindset is a must.
- Domain expertise in the travel industry or with airline and/or travel agency products a plus.
