RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive business development and execute sales strategy across the EMEA Online Travel segment, proactively identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, including large SaaS deals.
  • Own revenue delivery and pipeline performance, managing forecasts, sales activities, and consistently achieving financial and booking targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of sales and account managers, driving execution of sales initiatives and supporting high performance across the segment.
  • Develop and apply data-driven insights to refine sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and improve pipeline efficiency and profitability.
  • Build and manage key client relationships, delivering a consultative sales approach and strengthening long-term partnerships with Online Travel Agencies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Account Management, Implementation) to tailor solutions, support deal execution, and ensure strong customer outcomes.
  • Partner closely with the EMEA Managing Director and leadership team, shaping regional strategy and representing the online segment at senior executive level.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, sharing insights to inform tactical decisions and support ongoing commercial improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Relevant and extensive experience in sales within the online/travel technology space, supported by strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically to the C-suite audience at Online Travel Agencies.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and previous experience with travel technology products preferred.
  • Extensive understanding of the EMEA online market landscape, including competitive information, key trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Strategic thinker. Strong organizational and proven leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong internal and external customer relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working across Europe would be a distinct advantage.
  • Fluency in English, other European language skills would be beneficial.
  • Travel across Europe, 30% of the time.
