Role Overview
We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to start between July and September 2023. The position involves managing a room, supporting the Nursery Manager, and deputising during their absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your room and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the setting.
- Plan and organise activities to support children's growth and development.
- Conduct one‑to‑one meetings with staff.
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum.
- Mentor and supervise staff in your room.
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare and a minimum of 2 years experience as a Room Leader or above.
