Our client is currently looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader to start as soon as possible. This position is a full-time permanent contract working term-time only. You will be working from 8:45am - 4:15pm Monday to Friday. This role will have a start date of between July and September 2023.
You will be responsible for leading and managing your room and team. You will train new employees, complete occasional 1-2-1's and staff supervisions and be an overall friendly and approachable member of staff to both the children and employees.
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Nursery Practitioner or above. All candidates that meet these requirements will be equally considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- To manage your room and staff based in your room
- To plan and organise activities
- Supporting children's growth and development
- To conduct 1-2-1's with staff in your room
- Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum
- Support, mentor and supervise the staff in your room
