Our client is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with a minimum of 1 year previous experience in Childcare. If you have previous experience in the industry and a full Level 3 in Childcare, this could be the perfect role and opportunity for you if you are looking for a new challenge in a new environment.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will have key person responsibility and will be responsible for the care, development, education and safety of your key children, as well as all children based in your particular room. The successful candidate must have knowledge on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Safeguarding.
The nursery is open from 7:30am - 6:00pm, being a full-time role, your shifts will be either 7:30am - 5:30pm or 8:00am - 6:00pm.
Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:
- To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care
- To have Key Person responsibility
- To provide a safe, caring & educational environment
- Liaise with parents/carers
- To ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
- To plan activities, ensuring each child is working towards their early learning outcomes
- To work in partnership with Senior Management
Requirements of this Nursery Practitioner Role:
- Level 3 in Childcare or above
- Minimum of 1 year previous Childcare experience
- A passion and commitment for a long‑term career in Childcare
