Job Purpose
To enable student success and academic achievement through the implementation of the SABIS curriculum, philosophy, and teaching methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching using provided lesson plans and developing plans as needed, applying the SABIS point system.
- Marking exams in accordance with department schedules and materials.
- Discussing disciplinary and performance issues with relevant staff.
- Implementing the SABIS point system to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Supporting exam invigilation and assisting low-performing students.
- Preparing for external exams and participating in student activities and events.
- Attending training sessions to improve understanding of the SABIS system.
- Performing other tasks as delegated by school management.
Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject.
- Native Portuguese speaker.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of MS Office components.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
