The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

You’d be responsible for helping the Print Minders ensure the quality of printed work and compliance with Sabert operating procedures, including:

  • General housekeeping within the team, ensuring that the relevant print machine and area around it is maintained, kept clean, tidy and efficiently run at all times;
  • Prepare materials ensuring the Print Minders have all they need for the next job to minimise make ready times – this includes preparation of board, inks, etc;
  • Assist during press wash-ups / clean-downs;
  • Clean printing plates and blankets and relocate in correct location;
  • Assist with ordering consumables for use within the print team.

You’ll need to have an intermediate standard of written and spoken English so you can:

  • Understand and carry out instructions;
  • Be able to work well within a small team, as well as act on own initiative, with good listening, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Adapt working style quickly to changing situations with a flexible approach to working hours;
  • Work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements;
  • Meet the physical demands of the post with frequent lifting of light and moderately heavy items.

Full training will be provided.
