Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and develop new business opportunities in the UK, Ireland, and international markets (Europe, USA, etc.), including CAMO and engine services, field services, and other offerings within Sabena Engineering.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, emerging needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build, maintain, and expand a robust customer base.
  • Manage sales leads with professionalism and integrity, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, presentations, and strategic business plans.
  • Initiate and conduct customer visits, meetings, and calls (including cold outreach).
  • Organize and host customer visits to the company.
  • Represent the company at international industry events and conferences (e.g., MRO, Aero Engines, ISTAT).
  • Serve as the lead negotiator for customer contracts.
  • Deeply understand customer requirements and ensure seamless communication and alignment with internal production teams.
  • Act as the primary link between customers and operational units, ensuring satisfaction and effective issue resolution.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, managing inquiries, feedback, and complaints with care.

Strategic & Organizational Support:

  • Support the general management team in defining and implementing the overall company strategy.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to and support change management initiatives within the organization.
  • Coordinate and monitor corporate projects and broader business development efforts.
  • Provide assistance to the Aircamo parent entity (Sabena Engineering Brussels) as required within the scope of the role.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in aviation business development, preferably in CAMO, MRO, or engine services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational experience.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, both within the UK and internationally.
