About the Company Based in Kingston Upon Hull my client is an established local business with over 25 years of experience and as a result has earned a strong reputation and gained significant market presence. As part of the continued evolution of the local Finance team, the need has arisen to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant. About the role Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a small, dedicated finance team, you will support payroll, manage the sales and purchase ledgers, and assist with financial reporting as required. Rponsibilities Check and process purchase ledger transactions in a timely and accurate manner to enable the timely production of the monthly management accounts and management information pack. Matching of supplier invoices to delivery notes for each site checking for discrepancies. Reconciliation of supplier accounts to ensure the records held are current, correct and check invoice prices to agreed price lists. Liaise with suppliers on any discrepancies and obtain credits where necessary. Obtain authorisation on supplier invoices as necessary. Enter supplier payments onto Sage and match off to invoices. Create and send remittances to suppliers. Prepare
