About the role
We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated professional who is keen to further develop their knowledge and experience of Autism and ADHD assessment in children and young people. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of shaping the future of these services in Gloucestershire. You will be part of developing a robust, evidence‑based, multi‑agency assessment and post‑diagnostic intervention service, whilst developing your clinical skills around neurodiversity.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an MDT to complete assessments for Autism and ADHD with children and young people.
- Complete profession‑specific assessments to aid formulation.
- Offer supervision and consultation to professionals working with neuro‑diverse young people and families.
- Take responsibility for, and develop, projects to improve the experience for neuro‑diverse young people in Gloucestershire, both within the service and within the wider network.
- Work closely with education colleagues to ensure young people\’s needs are understood and met.
- Offer pre/post diagnostic groups to families.
Qualifications & Experience
Practitioners with an interest and expertise in Autism and ADHD diagnostic work are desirable. Flexibility across professional backgrounds is valued, as the diagnostic team includes a range of practitioners.
