1x fixed term apprenticeship contract for 19 months. We are seeking a motivated individual to develop skills and join the Administration team at OW Bist Forest Community Space, Cinderford. Salary £14,722.99 per year for the first 12 months, then National Minimum Wage. Opportunities for higher-level apprenticeships on completion.

We are looking for the next rising star to develop their skills and work within our award-winning team. If you are willing to learn, organised, a team player, and enthusiastic, then we want you to be part of our Administration team. Our friendly team are based at OW Bist Forest Community Space in Cinderford. You will work supporting the Integrated Community Team to provide key administrative support.

Alongside this full-time administrative role you will be enrolled onto the Business Apprenticeship Programme and will be expected to study and complete assignments to achieve a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The apprenticeship will include the expectation to complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship within a 19 month timeframe which includes an end point assessment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide important administrative support to the Integrated Community Team and will need to maintain and demonstrate Trust Values throughout all aspects of their work. They will be expected to work as part of a team delivering an effective service to ensure that services meet the operational needs.

Follow supervision and appropriate training to efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties, including:

  • filing (electronic)
  • answering the telephone and dealing with queries
  • monitoring the team email
  • processing invoices in line with Trust policies
  • typing minutes/transcripts
  • preparing meeting agendas
  • inputting data onto SystmOne and other systems
  • generating reports and basic analysis
  • arranging meetings and booking rooms
  • photocopying and scanning
  • maintaining records
  • ensuring confidentiality
  • attending team meetings
  • providing friendly, helpful service to colleagues

Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, contribute to service improvements, and implement changes with guidance from the line manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Desirable: GCSE level grade 4/C education or equivalent.

Essential: Personal skills, abilities and attributes including the ability to work on own initiative, independently and as part of a team; strong communication skills (verbal and written) and IT proficiency with basic skills.

Desirable: Good organisational skills; ability to prioritise and plan workload and meet deadlines.

Essential: Commitment to Business Administration Apprenticeship.
