The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons.
- Teach and support students across [Key Stage / Year Groups].
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Encourage students to develop strong literacy, communication and analytical skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider aims of the department and school.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or have relevant teaching qualifications.
- Have experience teaching English within a UK school setting.
- Have a strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
- Be passionate about helping students achieve their potential.
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Be organised, reliable and committed to high standards.
- Be able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, and applications from experienced teachers are equally encouraged.
