Our agency is currently recruiting for a fantastic school seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs and help them achieve their full potential. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels supported and valued. Your responsibilities may include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN. Supporting pupils with their learning and development. Helping pupils engage positively in classroom activities. Assisting with the implementation of individual learning and support plans. Supporting pupils with communication, social and emotional development. Working closely with teachers and other school staff. Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils' independence. Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. About You We are looking for someone who is: Caring, patient and approachable. Passionate about supporting children with additional needs. Reliable, professional and enthusiastic. Able to build positive relationships with pupils. A confident communicator and team player. Experienced working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential) . Able to adapt to the individual needs of each pupil.
