Key Responsibilities:
- Test and repair products as prioritised by the department team leader.
- Maintain and help generate/update test procedures and build documentation.
- Test/repair any PCB's or assemblies in accordance with test procedures and to the quality control standards.
- Maintain/repair and help design company test equipment.
- Highlight any build/design faults to the electronics workshop supervisor and team leader.
- Raise change requests and provide information to improve product quality or efficiency to support continual improvement.
- Help and support others with training when possible by sharing knowledge and skills.
- Understand and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure soldering and electrical work is carried out to a high standard in line with company standards and procedures.
- Maintain good knowledge in the use of crimp tools, crimps, receptacles, sleeving and heat shrink materials.
- Maintain basic understanding of fibre optic termination equipment and testing.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment in compliance with 6S best practice and health.
