This role is part of our Saab Seaeye Business Unit. The role will be tasked with helping to produce quality PCBs to production schedules/timescales and to help with general duties within the PCB area.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- Experience in Pre-kitting of SMT machines
- Ability to program and operate Stencil Printers
- Proficient in load placement program and set value checks for SMT Lines (ESSEMTEC experience an advantage, but not essential)
- Ability to create/adjust component package checks for SMT Lines (ESSEMTEC experience an advantage, but not essential)
- Carrying out maintenance on the SMT line as required
- Control of solder paste
- Supporting Production Engineering with all new SMT build programs
- To produce PCBs in accordance with the production schedule as issued by the PCB Production Supervisor using Equipment provided, i.e. Microscope or pick and place machine.
- To produce PCBs to the required standard as set by the quality control department.
- To communicate and highlight B.O.M or kitting errors to the PCB Production Supervisor.
- To report any build/design faults to the PCB Production Supervisor.
- To ensure all build information is correct and identify any changes as required.
- To provide support and ideas in maintaining and implementing lean manufacturing.
- To use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day-to-day activities and procedures within your specified role.
- To maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant IT (Information & Technology) and other systems required to adequately perform the role.
- Act ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times.
- To maintain a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments in order to deliver business and delivery objectives or deadlines.
- To carry out any other duties as detailed by the PCB Production Supervisor or his authorised representative.
- To use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day-to-day activities and procedures within the specified role.
- To maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant IT (Information and Technology) and other systems required to adequately perform the role.

- To keep good time management to minimise any wasted time and maximise productivity and effectiveness.
- Previous experience of producing/working with PCBs.
- Qualification in Electronics or Electrical field.
